Oh man...there is nothing worse than a woman scorned...and I am loving Jess so far and her attitude, and I love that her mom gave her a solid alibi…that first chapter made me laugh so hard.
So I’m about 40% through give or take a few % and I’m quite disappointed in Jason, I get how he acted in Breathe, and even in Just for Now but the way he is acting in this book is way out in left field. I thought up until this book that Jason was older than Jax because he always seemed older, he’s really showing his true age in this book…he’s acting like a spoiled little brat and he’s going to end up losing something really good if he doesn’t pull his head out of his ass and soon.

I also think Jess flinching away when Jason was mad was a HUGE wakeup call for Jason as to how Jess has been treated with men. Now whether he chooses to step up and be a man with his head out of his ass or not is yet to be seen.
Oh Dewayne…he is an instigator and I can’t wait until he is brought down by a woman. Oh it will happen, Book 8 (Hold on Tight) can’t come out fast enough…I need to see what happens with Dewayne, not to mention Krit in Bad for You…these books need to come out faster.

Thie more Jess’s mom talks the more I dislike her…just because she has been burned by men her whole life she thinks the same thing will happen to Jess, and that is just NOT the case. She needs to step back and let Jess figure things out herself…let her make her own mistakes instead of saving her from herself all the time.
I have a feeling I am going to hate Jason’s mother in about 2 seconds…AND there it was, I knew she was going to piss me off.
I definitely was NOT seeing that coming, though I should have because it was obvious really, and Jason and Jax’s mother…yeah I hope she gets hers by the end of the book and I’m guessing with how extremely pissed off Jason is right now she will.

I literally just finished this book moments ago and as much as I did love this book, I kind of wanted it to say more of what happened with Jason and Jax’s mother, that whole issue was left open ended. I was hoping for at least a little more in an Epilogue but who knows maybe we will see more of this couple later with Krit’s and then also in Dewayne’s books.
This wasn’t my favorite of the series by far but it was still a very good book, and a great addition to the Sea Breeze series.

Misbehaving Sea Breeze Book 6 eBook Abbi Glines Reviews

About my reviews
I am by no means a book scholar; I read for entertainment purposes only. I couldn't care less about grammar and spelling as long as I can follow the story (I’m still a novice when it comes to the English language and I am 30+ years old and English is my first and only language…I’m a 0’s and 1’s kinda girl). With that being said, I do appreciate those who have the gift of bringing good characters and stories to life via written words evoking all my “girlie” emotions. For the most part I’m a sucker for likable characters, good chemistry, angst, heartbreak, and happy endings. I judge books by how I feel while reading them and I am always looking for my next “5 star book” high!

I wanted to share my opinions on the books I’ve read recently because ratings can be misleading at times; however, I don’t want to spend too much time on reviewing a book when I could be reading the next “5 star book” (hence this template). You will not get any spoiler alerts or harsh critiques from my reviews…nope, you will simply get a star rating based on the following
5 stars – I could read this book over and over again…everyone should read this book!!!
4 stars – I could read this book more than once!
3 stars – Okay book…one read was enough
2 stars – I just about got through this book
1 star – I could not finish this book

Hopefully this will help you identify some good reads and avoid some not-so-good ones!
One of my favourite New Adult romance writers is Abbi Glines. Most New Adult books tend to focus on some edgy issue and big dramas and play around with the idea and use it as the basis of their story but what I love about Abbi Glines's books is that they are more romantic and though the characters tend to be all messed up in their own ways, she chooses to focus more on the romance aspect rather than the "poor me" I'm this way because of my nasty childhood or something tragic happened to me which caused me to be this way aspects". The other thing that I absolutely love about Abbi Glines books and this goes for both her Rosemary Beach and SeaBreeze books is that the characters all intertwine with one another so in a book they may play a minor or a major character but they feature somewhere. In Misbehaving by Abbi Glines, which is the sixth book in the SeaBreeze series we have the two main characters of Jess - who is cousin's with Rock and Rock is married to Trisha - who is Marcus and Amanda's older sister and also the couple that adopted Preston's younger siblings after his mum died. Jess in previous novels as made small guest appearances. The male lead goes to Jason Stone who is the younger brother of rockstar Jax Stone. Jax Stone is the one married to Sadie and we had their story in Breathe - Book #1. Sick of always living in his brother's shadow, Jason just wants to hang loose and have fun, but he never thought he would finally find love in SeaBreeze for himself as on a night of wild mayhem he meets Jess - who is from the other side of the tracks. She is everything that he isn't and he should not be near her but he can't help it. So what begins as a little fun and misbehaving though starts to turn into something more solid but what will happen when Jess gets a taste of his world and starts to believe she doesn't and never will belong ? Will she miss her one chance at happiness or will Jason get Jess to realise that she is his one and only ?
As a big fan of the TV Show Gilmore Girls, I really loved the dating analogies from Jess's Mum Starla about the guys in her life and how they relate to being a Dean - First Love , Logan - the rich one and Jess- The Soulmate and of course Rory- the girl. Thinking back to my GG days , I loved the character Jess and always did hope that somewhere along the track Rory got back with him as he did have high hopes and potential.
